Ty Salcedo-Chalberg

Ty Salcedo-Chalberg is a highly motivated and dedicated communication studies major with a strong background in customer service. With over four years of experience in various customer-centric roles, Ty possesses exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for creating a conducive work environment for both himself and his colleagues. Notably, Ty holds a special connection to G. Charles Design, being the nephew of our principal architect Glen.
Ty's educational journey began at Orange Coast College (OCC), where he pursued his degree in Communication Studies. Building upon this foundation, Ty then transferred to California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies in 2020. During his time at CSULB, Ty enrolled in a range of courses related to his field, including Bargaining & Negotiation, Media Effects, Mass Media, Digital Film/Video, Journalism.
Ty performed exceptionally in his past roles, including working as a Business Development professional at an architecture design firm in Woodland Hills, California. He efficiently interfaced with clients, explaining various architecture service offerings. He kept track of all customer profiles and worked diligently to communicate the company’s value to any clients who were considering services.
In addition to his professional experiences, Ty has also dedicated his time and skills to working as a videographer. He’s contributed his videography and video editing expertise to the San Diego Asian/Pacific Islander Film Festival, showcasing his commitment to community engagement and cultural events. Ty also works closely with his long-time friend’s company, Elvira Media, where he provides videography support for a wide range of clients and events. Ty brings his expertise in videography & editing to G. Charles Design, providing valuable content for our social media, marketing, and portfolio projects.
Outside of work, Ty likes to spend his free time listening to music, re-watching old movies, playing video games, or trying out new food spots around Los Angeles. He’s also been a long time UFC fan. Since high school, he and his friends have been getting together to watch PPV events on the weekends.
With his exceptional communication abilities, strong work ethic, and diverse skill set, Ty is important to daily operations at G. Charles Design. His passion for creating effective work environments, dedication to client satisfaction, and drive to discover more business opportunities make him an excellent choice for our architecture team.
