James Villar

James Christian Y. Villar is a globally competitive Junior Architect with a passion for unlimited learning and a strong desire to contribute to the field of architecture. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Mapúa University in Manila, James has laid a solid foundation for his career and is driven to continuously expand his knowledge and explore new opportunities.

During his college years, James actively participated in various organizations, showcasing his leadership skills and commitment to his chosen field. He served as Vice-President of Program & Development for UAPSA (United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary), where he played a crucial role in the development and growth of the organization. He also held positions such as Director of Organizational Management for ARIDBE Student Council and Vice-Chair of the Committee on Environment & Ecology for UAPSA National, demonstrating his dedication to promoting sustainable architecture.

James's professional experience began with an internship at Concipio Tektura, where he gained hands-on exposure to various aspects of architectural work. He honed his skills in project coordination, client meetings, and site visits. Subsequently, he had the opportunity to contribute to projects such as the LEGASPI Condominium Unit Project, where he supervised construction activities, and assisted in material selection. James also played a pivotal role in the renovation of a commercial project and a residential dirty kitchen, showcasing his attention to detail and ability to deliver functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.

James has also worked at STUDIO42C as a Junior Architect and Draftsman. In this role, he was responsible for detailed cabinet layout and design, 3D modeling, and interior designing. His proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc. have been instrumental in his ability to bring his creative visions to life.

Beyond his professional pursuits, James finds joy in various hobbies and activities. He enjoys cycling and playing badminton to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. In his leisure time, he indulges in coffee dates, plays video games, and bonds with his cats and dogs.
